Bundle up and treat your brain to candy canes, choo choo trains and robots in this virtual winter wonderland. Even if you're basking in the tropics, flurries of chilly, silly fun are only as far away as your phone — which is in your hand right now.
The video at the top of this page will show you how to unfold and use your viewer. Remember to remove the protective plastic from the lenses for the best experience.
Primalscope is compatible with phones with screen sizes up to 6 inches. If you have a case on your phone, you may have to remove it for a proper fit.
Make sure your phone is aligned flat against the Cardboard - if it is tilted, the image may appear blurry in the viewer. If you have a case on your phone, it may help to remove it. Also, be sure to remove the plastic film covering the lenses when you first receive your viewer.
Make sure the center of the screen is aligned with the center of the viewer. It may be necessary to adjust your phone once you're looking through the viewer to get the alignment just right.
Your phone may also be upside-down in the viewer, make sure that the gear icon in the app is sitting at the bottom of your screen.
You can visit YouTube 360 to watch virtual reality videos. You can also download and view any app designed to be used with Google Cardboard.
The Primal Scope is based on the Google Cardboard V2 specifications, and should work with the V2 profile in your cardboard app. Note that the VR village app is already calibrated for this viewer - if you have not used a Cardboard viewer with your phone before, you will not need to scan one. However, if you would like to scan a code for use with other apps, we have included one below.
